Check This Out! 2021 BBZ JC Tournament Standings and Prizes-One Of The Largest In Youth Fishing
Welcome to the Official 2021 Bass Cat Boats, BBZ JC Awards List
Taking first place honors and the 2021 BBZ Champion, Evan Cox from CO bested the field of 53 other state winners to take home the Grand Prize
Not only did he get to drive home a new Bass Cat Bobcat with a Mercury motor, Lowrance graphs, MotorGuide Tour, and a YOLOtek 53”. He was also awarded a 30,000.00 Scholarship to Bethel University and a chance to go fish with Joe Thomas at Billy Chapman Jr’s famous Anglers Inn Lake El Salto.
Please take the time to scroll through this years BBZ JC state winners and look at the incredible prizes top sponsors donated towards this event and young anglers across the US. The BBZ is working hard to open more doors to young anglers and their families and give them all a chance to not only fish like a pro, but be treated like one if they make it to the BBZ JC World finals.
Anglers on Saturday night got to choose their own prizes depending on how they finished in the event. Remember that all of these anglers fished hard for over 7 months to qualify and win their individual states. Now they get to grab something they need. We are one of the only events that do not place monetary valued items within placement standings. Anglers here get to choose what they really need to succeed for the future. Take in point that 3 anglers that grabbed the 30,000.00 Bethel University Scholarships sat in 17th, 35th and 50th place. There is 90,000.00 in scholarships that did not go to 2nd, 3rd and 4th place anglers that could not have used them, or needed them. Other anglers that need certain equipment like AQUA-VU picked them, or they have a Mercury motor and needed oil or props. Other anglers wanted graphs from either Lowrance or Humminbird and the same with MotorGuide or Minn Kota trolling motors.
None of this would ever happen without sponsors from every side of this industry working together and giving the future of our sport a chance to choose.
So please take the time to reach out to all of these sponsors and Thank Them! Without them a tournament like this would never of happened and will not happen in the future unless they know what they are doing has an impact for future generation of anglers.
54 anglers from every state in the US except Alaska arrived the last week of October at the beautiful state of Missouri in downtown Branson. 2021 state sponsors put up anglers and their parents for 2 nights at our host hotel the Radisson and what an incredible place. They also covered both banquet dinners, breakfast, and lunch for the anglers and boaters on Saturday. Shout outs to Ray, Lorie, Darah and the entire staff at the Radisson for their hospitality and grace.
We also have to thank some special ladies from Branson and without their help, this event would have never got off the ground.
To Terra, Janet, JoAnna, and Beth from the Branson/Lakes Area Chamber of Commerce & CVB and Taney County Partnership, Thank you for all your hard work.
To Nikki Kinney-Sivils Marketing Director Branson Landing and Megan from the Paddlewheel your help took our event over the top.
Just incase I did not say it enough, I want to thank a few people that went above and beyond to make this years event so special for the kids and families.
To Melissa McCalmant, no words can ever be enough to thank you for your mad skills on everything, Tony, Mark and LeDon, crazy to think what 5 people can pull off what we did halfway across the country. You all rock.
When all the smoked settled after the Bassmaster Live Weigh-In it was time to see what these anglers wanted to grab. Here is the full list and photos of all 54 anglers and their prizes.
