Blast From The Past! California-Crappie with Al Lindner & Bill Siemantel

A few years back Al and I got into some slab crappie out here in California. What a great day on the water with Al. The technique of flipping and pitching works very well for crappie with 1/16 oz Spro Phat flys (what I had tied on) and 6# test Maxima Line. All the crappie were caught in less the 3' of water and best 5 weighed close to 10 pounds.

Fishing Human Shadows w/ Bill Siemantel SAY WHAT!!!!!!

OK, I am going to show you some of the craziest stuff that you have ever seen.. PERIOD! Fishing shadows is one thing but fishing human shadows (your own) within minutes is another. I find a nice point with some stained water and stand still so the fish can postion themselves in my shadow and then I hammer them. Equipment used was a Lamiglas rod, Shimano 2500, Maxima 6# and a 1/8oz Spro Phat fly with a 1" bobber.
