Throughout the last 25 years, the Art of Conservation Fish Art Contest has reached over 70,000 children around the world and continues to be a premier program connecting students to fishing and conservation.
In 2023, the contest received 4,566 entries from youth artists and generated 24,004,782 total impressions through social media, press, and website outreach. Entries came from 45 US states and 44 countries.

The Fish Art Contest will open for its 26th season on September 1st, 2023. With the new contest cycle comes exciting updates to the program, such as the release of updated curriculum (early 2024), a brand-new teacher training program, and a new partnership with the Bureau of Land Management to strengthen the program across the western United States.
