Knoxville, TN – Taking up ⅓ of the space of ordinary batteries, the TM3138-36 38.4V 38Ah Lithium Ion Trolling Battery from Lithium Pros® gives anglers more motor space while reducing weight on their boats. The battery offers 92 reserve minutes of usable energy, has a lifespan of more than 2,000 charges, and is equipped with an internal battery management system for safe and efficient performance.
The Lithium Ion Trolling Battery measures 13 in. L x 6.8 in. W x 8.4 in. T and weighs 32 lbs, yet provides as much trolling motor power as three BCI group 27 12V lead acid batteries. That’s 1/3 of the space and less than 1/3 of the weight of legacy trolling motor power supplies.
Simple to operate while actively fishing, trolling motors are indispensable for quietly accessing shallow fishing spots or holding positions in the current. Providing power for the motors, however, has traditionally required bulky, heavy 12V batteries that needed frequent charging and had limited lifespans.
Lithium Ion batteries offer more advantages to boating anglers than lead acid batteries. They are smaller and lighter, charge faster, run longer on a charge, and typically last as long as ten years, while lead acid batteries usually last around three years.
With a capacity of 38 amp hours or 1,459 watt-hours, the Lithium Ion Trolling Battery provides 92 minutes of reserve power for hours of fishing. The internal battery management system offers built-in protections against over temperature, over voltage, over current and short circuit conditions.
Built with Lithium Ion Phosphate (LiFePO4) cells tested to the UL1642 standard, Lithium Pros TM series batteries are recommended for inductive motor loads such as trolling motors, electric motors, motive power, and other forms of energy storage. They can be recharged with typical AGM battery chargers.
