Each of the featured series in the Outdoor America syndication block is described in more detail below:

Spanish Fly

Fishing legend Jose Wejebe came to the United States from Cuba in 1960 and became one of the most diverse anglers to explore our waters. He later went on to produce 18 seasons of the award-winning television series, Spanish Fly. We lost Jose in 2012 when his plane crashed in Everglades City, but his legend lives on with Spanish Fly and the Jose Wejebe Memorial Foundation, run by his daughter, Krissy.

Not seen on Television since 2014, Spanish fly makes it’s return with Outdoor America on January 1st. Timeless in its poetic story telling, Jose escorts you through his backyard of the Florida Keys to places afar like the Seychelles in the Indian Ocean, all while immersing the audience into the community of the story’s location.

Chasing The Sun

In the season seven premiere, the Chasin’ The Sun cast celebrates the great times had with the late Capt. Travis Holeman and looks to the future with a renewed passion for adventure. The fishing and coastal lifestyle television program filmed in and around the emerald-green Gulf waters of Panama City Beach.

The Musky Hunter

Season 16 of The Musky Hunter Television Show premieres on New Years Day – January 1, 2022 – Hall of Fame Angler Jim Saric and pros throughout the musky range break down how to maximize opportunities and take advantage of unique fishing situations in the new era of Musky fishing.
