How To Take The Chaos Out Of Online Fishing? You Use The Fishing Chaos App!
Castaic, CA — The time is here to make the change! Bass Cat Boats, Big Bass Zone Junior Championship that is presented by B.A.S.S, will now be powered by Fishing Chaos. The BBZ JC was in need of change and when we needed the power of technology, our first choice for a fishing app that allowed our online tournament to run more efficiently was Fishing Chaos. After sitting down with John Calagaz, Founder of Fishing Chaos and Jesse Wilson it did not take long to realize Fishing Chaos just took the Chaos out of running an Online Fishing tournament. When looking for success the BBZ JC is always looking for a higher level of excellence, and we think we found it with the Fishing Chaos app.
Following Industry Standards For Online “Length Tournaments”
Fishing Chaos is fast becoming the choice of organized online tournament platforms across the US. In the past to present, well run kayak bass fishing tournaments like Chad Hoover’s (KBF) series standardized a CPR online tournament that took the anglers fish catches and measured them according to length. This system has found itself as a baseline platform as a length guideline with other tournaments from the west coast to the east coast.
The BBZ Founder, Bill Siemantel has always been about “Keeping It In The BBZ” (Big Bass Zone). As a 32-year veteran of the Los Angeles Fire Department, you would think that Bill Siemantel has a pretty full plate. But somehow, he has found the time to forge a phenomenal tournament record in local, regional and national events including a BassMaster victory at Lake Powell, pioneer the intricacies of big bass fishing, co-author an award-winning book “The Big Bass Zone” with Michael Jones, produce an equally impressive DVD on swimbait and big bass techniques and design some of the most cutting edge lures ever to grace a tackle store shelf.
But with time and age a true pioneer will find themselves at a cross roads and ponder what path to take next. Bill Siemantel took a path a few years back building the first youth online tournament that measured fish for their approximate total weight with a Length and Girth measurement system, it was a time to give back to the youth he said. He also knows there are some proven systems out there that last the test of time and no better mousetrap is lurking around the corner. We are talking about the Length Measurement Standards and what the majority of online tournaments or considering the baseline of grading the length of a bass. Bill and the BBZ JC will follow suit with these proven standards.
Another First In Online Tournament Fishing
Understanding the power of the Fishing Chaos app and the ease of use for the anglers and tournament directors with calculating an online length tournament, The BBZ JC needed to take things to a new level when it comes to a total weight of a bass. Bill Siemantel worked on and wrote the first ever Girth Standards that in conjunction with the length standards within the industry will give the most consistent weight average from a Length and Girth formula (LxLxG/1200). After consulting with Chad Hoover from Kayak Bass Fishing to see if Siemantel’s “Girth Protocols” does not interfere with length standards and then reaching our to John Huneycutt from Bucket Mouth Brand’s that is in the process on building a soft side ruler system call the GirthQuake for trophy anglers to record their catch and release them to be caught another day. In John’s words, “The Girth Is The Worth, I am introducing the all-new BMB GirthQuake, an innovated, ground-braking measuring device designed specifically to measure girth, giving trophy anglers the trust, most accurate and truest depiction of their monster catch. I love the simplicity of the new standards for girth measurement rules that Bill Siemantel has put into play and should be a very simple task for young teen anglers while measuring both length and girth in the BBZ JC. Bill and I have collaborated on a ruler with 1/8” increments to follow the new guidelines and I an in the process on coming out with my reversible patent pending soft GirthQuake ruler with contrasting color patterns.”
Why Is This A First?
After writing the new standard for a standard Length and Girth measuring system (2021 BBZ JC Rules and Standards) how was this going to work on a fishing app? The app had to take not only added photos for length, but with the BBZ JC standards, a Girth, and a Selfie had to be calculate, aggregate, and work seamlessly on a fishing app platform. The BBZ JC reached out to Chad Hoover and asked, who do you think can pull this off? Without taking a breath, Fishing Chaos can! As stated in the opening paragraph, Siemantel reached out to Fishing Chaos and within 3 weeks the first ever calculated length and girth fishing app will be available for the Big Bass Zone Junior Championship today.
There is more to come in the following weeks and months for the 2021 BBZ JC but know that we are all in good hands now with Fishing Chaos.
