Bass Cat, Becoming Part Of Our Family-Appreciation Post

Those that know me know I don’t toot our horn well. We work hard to let our customers know we care. In turn they become a part of our Bass Cat “Family” and they’ve always been the most loyal in bass boats. The percentage of owners repurchasing our brand is staggering and has been for most of our 50 years, now decades.

For the last 25+ years, or so, I’ve written these memos to our consumers who purchase a new boat. This years memos are a little more special, a little sweeter, as this time reminds me daily of when we built those first 1988 Pantera II and Sabre models. In 1987 we had a “Black Monday” market crash and we rolled through that 1988-1991 time frame unscathed.

The new Puma STS is truly unlike anything in its class we’ve ever built with their ride and handling. We jumped up the features and equipment levels and the new latches are just absolutely “sweet”. The layout is solid and there’s just not much the Puma STS model doesn’t do for the majority of bass anglers desiring this level of premier product. The list is too long for this post.

What they don’t understand is there’s no hype, it’s all real and only through a passion for what we do can that reality exist. It’s shared with you and embraced by our dealers as well.

At a time we are faced with a pandemic, we are flourishing in the outdoor market. While we personally understand the pains of losses and sickness, it’s also put many people in the outdoors, closer to God and Family. There are always things to be thankful for.

As we close in on 2022 and put 2021 in the mirror, we are thankful for the memories, the blessings and the “Family” we all know as the Bass Cat “Family”. The original “Family” in boating and we hope to see many of you at the Family Reunion in April.

Have a great 2022!

PS: As stated earlier this year, I will have another appreciation post to follow.
