Mr. Hollywood "Mike Forslund" From Film, Fishing and now Family Homes

Hello All,
I hope this letter finds everyone doing well these days.
Wanted to drop a line to everyone to let them know of some changes in my life that I wanted to share with you. 

As most of you know Im currently an audio post production mixer in the film and
television industry as well as filming and working within the fishing industry. Some of you may know that I was behind the lens filming Bill Siemantel for over a year traveling the states while we put together a cutting edge; high impact fishing DVD for SPRO and the BBZ-1 line of baits that Bill designed.

So as you can imagine, I have had an extremely successful career.
Working with some of the biggest and brightest in the industry and having been a part of some of the coolest TV shows and motion pictures to ever come out. I have really been blessed in my journey. This last year I reached the 20 year mark. Although its been great. For the last few years I have found myself longing for another adventure. 

Growing up my father worked at and owned the Trinity County Title company in Weaverville California for 20 plus years. 
I remember as a really young kid putting on a tie and going to the office to work with him. 
Trying to learn the ins and outs of real estate. I enjoyed it a lot but the pull of
playing as a musician was stronger and led me to the path of entertainment industry.
Recently in the last year I had found myself often thinking about those days I enjoyed so much as a kid. 

So through lots of thought, talking with my loving wife and prayer, I made the decision about 7 months ago to pursue that childhood interest and get into the real estate business. 
And finally last week after lots of study and classes I managed to pass the state exam and get my real estate license.

Having owned and managing my audio business Pacific Wave Media for 16 plus years I understand the importance of positioning yourself around the right people. So it was important to find the right people who are successful and passionate in real estate.
With that thinking in mind I was able find, and to get signed up with Brokers Mayra and David Santana, and join the Sunrise Dream Realty Team. They have more then 29 years experience in the business. With thousands of successful transactions under their belts I know Im in the right hands starting off with this amazing and passionate team!

Im super excited and looking forward to the next career chapter in my life. For those that wonder, I will continue to work in the film industry and keep mixing on projects as I choose. But I will also be working in the real estate business and hitting the water chasing big bass again.

Life is about risk, reward and chasing those dreams each of us carry. 
I heard one of my friends Anthony Bernard quote something on Facebook recently that hit me square in the face. He said “You don't have to be great to start, You just have to start to be great.” 
Powerful words dont you think?............ So with that its time to start!

I will also be keeping you informed on what's happening around Santa Clarita and Castaic. For all of those who love being around the water, Castaic Lake is only 6' from full pool. This should give all of you something to look forward to as we go into spring and summer.
