BBZ Shout Out Sunday: Samantha Gay Teaches Kids And Catches Bass!
This weeks "Shout Out Sunday" goes to someone very special that has been tearing up the bass fishing scene daily! Samantha not only posts her daily catches, and if I am not wrong went over 300 bass in 300 days. She is truly an ambassador of fishing and teaching fishing basics to the up and comers in the sport. The children of North Carolina are very lucky to have such a great lady to show them the way. Keep up the great work Sam -Bill Siemantel-
Hey Bill, Thank you very much for getting me one of these SPRO BBZ-1 Rats you made! As you know I have to get on the water every day and today was no different! I caught it around 8:00 tonight. I'd moved down to the furthest end of the pond and threw it right in front of a drainage tile, parallel to the grass shavings and algae that had floated against the banks. As soon as it hit the water, it was gone! I saw a splash and that was it! That split second between the splash and the tug seemed like forever. Next thing I knew it took off towards the center of the pond and I set the hook. It put up a good fight with one big jump once right before getting to the bank. I just missed my PB by and ounce or so but not giving up. My big goal is a 10 pounder and I feel I am really close to breaking it soon. -Samantha Gay-

Founder/CEO/Owner · Walstonburg, North Carolina
Fishers of Kids Anglers Academy is an outdoors youth outreach program designed to get children involved in fishing, and the outdoors, in general. With the help of many fishing companies and volunteers, I hope to offer the children of my community the opportunity to participate in outdoors adventures that will lead to a life-long love and respect for nature, wildlife, and our natural resources.
