Their trip produced many memories of spectacular catches, that would be otherwise if it were not for the largest member of the SPRO BBZ-1 swimbait family the 8 inch. It was March, the season when big fish spawn, so they were targeting shallow coves and cuts.

Undaunted by persistent heavy cold winds, they trolled the 8-inch big bait when this beautiful Pike was caught. As Bjorn said, "The Pike was heavy and already well overfed."

As the winds continued, they came to a relatively calm cove. Bjorn employed a jerk bait type retrieve when he cast to this stout and aggressive Ferox Trout. Using a fast sinking model in the middle of the water column the feeding Trout stuck hard. Bjorn said, "It felt liking catching a dream and this makes the BBZ swimbait very unique, you never know what you’re able to accomplish."

Bjorn thanks for visiting the BBZ, sharing your adventure, and proving that the BBZ Big-Bait will produce big bites from any species anywhere on the planet. I suspect we will hear more from you and other fabulous fishing treks.
