Hookup Baits Debuts the Hub Bullet

Don’t Blink on the Sink

Last summer and fall, jig heads and tube baits were a prime lure for Southern California Pelagic Fish. One of the hot baits, Hookup Baits, they’re manufacturers of a popular line of tubes with internal jig heads. At this year’s Fred Hall Sportfishing Show Hookup Baits introduced their new Hub Bullet.

Paul Vazquez details what makes the Hub Bullet unique. Tube Baits are available in a range of sizes. Sometimes big tuna and yellowtail are feeding on smaller bait, and that’s the only thing they’ll eat. The problem in the past with smaller baits was hooks bending out on big fish. The problem is now solved. “Instead of bending out, the Hub Bullet hook can last those massive fish.”

“When big game fish are chewing smaller bait, the Hub Bullet provides anglers with a heavy head weight, and a bigger stouter hook, in a smaller profile tube,” explains Vazquez.

Now you can target a broader range of fish size, but you’re ready when the Big Fish Hits! A field-tested proven winner that casts far sinks quickly and swims straight on a fast retrieve.
