I was immediately pulled into its depiction. Seeing the Bluegill on the line with the artificial bait hanging from its mouth and the Largemouth Bass moving in to take advantage of the situation reminded me of so many similar scenarios. I had to investigate further.
Explore I did, and what I discovered was a catalog of fantastic artistry. Michael Hoffman not only captures these aquatic worlds but as I look into them, for me, they transcend the particular geographic scene that is being featured.
It could be Sailfish working a bait ball, a cabin cruiser leaving the dock at sunrise, or a shark prowling a coral reef, the theme of the subject matter takes place in any body of water, fresh or salt, all across the globe and I just want to dive right into them.
