Here at the BBZ we are constantly looking to help members find products that work and are a good value. During these economic times all of us certainly want to be as prudent as possible. I suspect that due to the economic conditions many of us will be holding onto our current boats for a long time. Taking good care of our boats will help increase longevity.

Not long ago I was fortunate to win some boat cleaning products at a local team tournament. Anybody who knows me is aware that I like to keep my boat very clean. I have been using these products and have been very pleased.

Ok a guy who keeps his boat clean wins some product samples and likes it, so what that’s not a big deal. I hope Bill is ok with this but I feel these products should be BBZ approved and recently I saw the opportunity to really put them to the test. Is Peregrine up to the challenge?

Here is Troy Lindner and his boat. Troy is a hardcore fisherman who had his rig in Lake Havasu and the Colorado River from sun up to sun down for eight days without any time to clean it.

Eight days without being cleaned

The engine cowling is covered with hard water spots

The lower unit is a mess

These chrome parts are filthy

Just spray on the Peregrine 250

And wipe with the microfiber towel

Hard water spots, no problem spray on the Water Dog

Look at the build up running down with the spray, no need to rub hard, just wipe it’s that easy

Just like new again

This stuff works

Ready for the Quagga Mussel inspection at the California border crossing

I use the Peregrine Blue Soap and the Peregrine 250 on my truck as well. I am going to continue to use these products. In fact I am so impressed I feel I should pursue this company for sponsorship.

I started using Peregrine 2 years ago and quickly found I could get away with not wiping down the Skeeter every time I recovered it. I fish Lake Mead and Lake Mojave frequently.

The Water Dog is very effective at removing water spots and the wax compound seems to keep them from adhering to the gel coat.

If I am fishing out of Park Moabi and on the upper river section of Havasu, then I have to go through the inspection station on the US 40 at Needles. I'll drain, clean and wipe the Skeeter with Peregrine after recovering before heading back to Vegas

Couple days ago I detailed the Skeeter after probably 6 weeks without a wash. I store the Skeeter outside under a boat cover; the soot from Las Vegas air pollution still gets on it. It looked a lot like Troy's rig in the photos...A wash with boat soap, and then wipe down with Water Dog followed by application of cleaner/polish (Peregrine 250)restored the hull to shiny condition.

Great Product!

Yes, it's a great product. I will bring a few bottles out to Lake Mead for the National Guard event in May. Bill uses it all the time on his boat, and the BBZ wrap still looks new after a couple years. Also look for Eagle Eye from the Peregrine family of products. Keeps your sunglasses and LCD's shiny and clean. One bottle lasts a very long time.
