My name is Josh Wray and I am “The Visit Mammoth Guy”.
I’ve lived in the Eastern Sierra for nearly five years and have made many memories out on the water casting a pattern and trolling a lure. I’m still learning as much as I can about fishing on the East side, but I must say it has quickly become a passion of mine and has taken up the majority of my day dreams and youtube views. Like many of you understand, it only takes that one time hooking the big one to keep you coming back.
For me it was at Lake George where I caught what is still my biggest fish, and since then I can’t stop thinking about when the next time I can cast my fly out on to the water will be.
To start things off, It will be my privilege to write to you through theBBZ.com about the fishing reports/updates so you and your family will know the best spots to hit while you visit us up here. I look forward to seeing you out on the water.
WHAT’S HAPPENING THIS WEEK:
Upper Owens: A good amount of rainbows are running up the river. Water temperatures are heating up which accelerates weed growth. The weeds make it tough to keep a pattern clean. This is a Catch & Release, Barbless, Year-Round spot.
