Prime Time

Is fishing an entire day for 18-hours better than fishing for 6-hours during prime conditions?

This photo from Great Bear Lake Canada in the Arctic Circle depicts typical light conditions just as the sun is setting.  As anglers, we cherish that period associated with sunrise and sunset. Often the opportunity for great angling can occur during these low light situations.

During the summer at Plummer's Arctic Circle Lodge, this is as dark as the sky will be between dusk and dawn. Sometime close to midnight the sun will drop just below the horizon staying there for about 4 hours and then it starts to rise into the sky again.
