Myth Busters

Myth Busters

Swimbaits and especially the big bait are surrounded by main stream falsehoods and misconceptions.

Myth, swimbaits only work in clear water.  Water displacement, sound, vibration, larger profile and a bass's lateral line so why wouldn't swimbaits and their big signature excel in stained water? In the photo above this Tennessee (non-Californian) bass was caught close to the rocks behind me. Between the rocks the soil is clay and this main channel receives a lot of boat traffic producing highly stained water. SPRO BBZ-1 6" gets the job done!
